Flat graphics are the current trend in user interfaces. Windows Phone was the first to popularize the trend with their bold colors and simple graphics.
Now Apple is releasing iOS7 on September 18th with a new flatter interface. Its not as simple as Windows single color live tiles, instead they keep subtle gradients but have simplified the icons. 3D and realism are officially old school. MORE

TECHNO-HEALER
Well, it’s safe to say that I am not a purse kinda gal. (Those who know me, please don’t gasp in shock!)
I carry a backpack because it is functional. I believe this multiple compartment beauté was a Target purchase right before a business trip to Toronto in 2010. It was for a Coca-Cola / McDonald’s ideation session. This trip was the beginning of a journey that has led me ultimately to the graduate degree in creativity that I start this June. Hence the book “Out of Our Minds – Learning to be Creative”.
BAGGAGE
There’s not much to the story about how I got my bag or why I got my bag. At the time I got it 11 years ago, It didn’t look like a nerdy book bag and it didn’t look like too much like a purse, so I figured it would do.
CLASSIC COLORFUL CHAOS
My bag is a Louis Vuitton Speedy 30. It’s an iconic, classic bag that was released in 1930 and carried throughout the years by well knowns; from Audrey Hepburn to Rihanna.

We made it to Raleigh, North Carolina last night and caught up on a couple of episodes of “Game of Thrones” at the hotel.
